While working together in their eBay auction business, Trevor, Amber and Rob grow increasingly obsessed with the Web site fourboxes.tv, which follows the bizarre and potentially dangerous behavior of a creepy character they nickname "Havoc." A slow yet strange movie. Had a good twist to it. Without giving too much away, I have to say the last 5 to 10 minutes, I wasn't sure if it was another twist, or actually what was happening.

A creepy and suspenseful debut from Minneapolis Natives. This low budget movie was creatively written and easily heart-pounding freaky. Well acted, it keeps you guessing on how it's going to end.

Four Boxes is a well-done thriller done on a shoestring budget. The cleverness of the plot and the interesting script make it well worth watching, especially if you are interested in independent films. Justin Kirk is great and the other cast members (largely unknown) do a good job. I wasn't crazy about the ending, but I guess I'm willing to forgive that for the first-time film-maker.

I understood what the filmmakers were trying to do here, and I appreciate the creativity - but next time, I would suggest they hire actors that can act, and write characters that you can actually sympathize with and like.

"Four Boxes" has its funny spots, and when the plot finally revs up, it delivers some freaky moments. But did we really need a triple-twist ending?
