I really looked forward to seeing this film. I love French cinema and classical music, so the plotline of " La Tourneuse de Pages", seemed like my ideal movie. The performances of the two principal characters Melanie (Francois) and Ariane (Frot) are superb. Don't get me wrong, it's still a very good movie & I'll definately watch the DVD again. It's just the finale was not what I expected, an anti climax, which left me a little disappointed. I would still recommend going to see it, though.

It keeps me on the edge of the seat. It gives me goose bumps. The suspense and the haunting MUSIC!! Perfect in every way.

detailed plot. and actors can really play the instrument

Deliciously chilling and tense, all without spilling a single drop of blood in the finale. Trust the French to pull off such a feat.

Delightful thriller. The movie is not set your typical way but in rather interesting and unusual story. I really enjoyed the music too. The sheet music for the main theme was even included in the DVD cover - NICE! :) Deborah Francois is intriguing and mysterious. You never really know what she's thinking and that's the reason this movie is so interesting. Highly recomended for the fans of Piano or La Pianiste.
