Authentic and Amazing, this movie shows many things that are unimaginable to the younger crowd and provides quite the piece of art. Bruno Ganz acting in it is exceptional.

Fantastic war film about the final days of Adolf Hitler's life and the downfall of the Third Reich. Few films have as much power as this one. only a handful of other war films match its power. Great cinematography, a great score, and fantastic direction/acting highlight this film especially Bruno Ganz's portrayal of Hitler. 10/10

Outstanding film on the final days of Hitler and the Third Reich! Fantastic acting (Hitler, Goebbels, Magda Goebbels and Prof. Schenk stand out) goes hand in hand with accuracy in the events... the film is simply breath-taking to view, whether you're familiar with the story (which helps a bit) or not. It gives you the shivers... not only is Hitler acted to perfection, but you actually feel sorry for the tired, withered old man whose terrible world is falling down around him. If you've never watched a foreign film before, watch this one... it will change the way you think.

This film is amazing. The performances in particular are breathtaking. It's good to finally see some admittance that the Germans suffered too.

At once grandiose, horrific, suffocating, and memetastic, but most importantly perpetually relevant. This film is perhaps the most significant war film of all time and one of the few that explores the full breadth of a nation forced to face the consequences of its choices. Some claim it humanizes atrocity, but the fact remains that it was all driven by human motivations and actions, from table top strategy to the decision to murder kids. Superbly acted (Bruno Ganz *is* Hitler), with great support casting, and immaculate attention to detail. If nothing else, see this film for an important history lesson.
