What a great movie! And its based on a true story! Philippe Petit, what a crazy, brave and inspirational guy. Amazing. Joseph Gordan-Levitt was amazing in this! I really like the twin towers after this movie :)

What a shame that this magnificent movie will be little noted, nor long remembered. It deserves so much better than its inevitable fate to be forgotten. The marketing was non-existent, but the movie was grandly exhilarating in both overall terms, and down to the nitty-gritty details. The New Yawk authenticity is beautiful and detailed, and I remember it from my youth well. The visual effects, and the memories they induce, are thrilling, accurate, flawless, and sensational. The film is more than just a story of a madcap caper and adventure, it is also a tribute to troubadourship, to Paris, to New York, to the majestic Twin Towers - the glory they were! - to being a dreamer. It will be forgotten, around awards time as well, but I will not let it slip. It was an immersive, electric, intoxicating joie de vivre experience excepcional!

A remarkable moment in history brought about in the most beautiful way, not only visually but emotionally. I am glad that this was made into a movie, because surprisingly a lot of people didn't know this was a true story. The madness and inspiration Philippe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) has is incredibly relatable, at least to me, and is driven home because it is real. This is what the WTC should have been remembered for, and it is truly saddening when at the end the camera pans to the twin towers for the last shot. To sum up in three words: Inspiring and heartfelt.
