Downfall gives an in-depth and realistic overview of the final days Adolf Hitler spends in his Berlin Bunker along with the rest of the Nazi regime. Bruno Ganz plays Hitler's character with such emotion that Hitler represents a madman, who will not go down without a fight. Hitler's character is so fascinating to watch in how he reacts to the downfall that his German nation is going under. It is truly an essential movie to see in order to understand the significant history that ties along with it. The movie is done with such intensity that you can not simply sit back and just watch it. Watch it, and relive the history that was striking the ends of WWII

This movie allows us to watch the decomposition of the downfall of Hitler's era from the inside out with almost a clear impression of the insight of some of the things that were taken place during those final days of the war. It also attempts to show Hitler's compassionate side beneath the genocidal Hitler, we were shown to see this man as he probably was in real life before becoming the greatest villain in history. But Hitler's dark side was also shown, his hate and antipathy for the Jews. But what has come under criticism is because the movie interpreted that the Nazis were just as human as you and I while the Nazis were always being depicted as the cruel merciless monsters.

wow awesome 1 of the best ww2 movies i ever seen there are a lot of historical events in this movie not like some of the ww2 movies that are just drama...also the actor who plays hitler deserve a 5 star...recommend it to everyone how likes ww2 movies

i love this film because it shows how fast a man can lose everything in a matter of ten days. and its well at getting Hitlers soft and hard sides. a truly inspirational film.
