This movie was graphic, groundbreaking, and amazing. Before I start saying how brilliant this film was, people are wondering how much blood and gore is in this movie. Out of 10 I have to say a 10. This had blood spewing every where including the camera. I have to say other than the bloody gorey mess of a movie it was it is awesome. The action sequences were fantastic, the alien weapons are so kick ass there's nothing better to say about this movie. The story was very well thought through. I couldn't believe how great this Sci-Fi movie was. I agree with something someone said and I will repeat it " This had robots like Transformers, aliens like Aliens in the Attic and Transformers, and army men like GI-Joe. But this is better than all of these movies combined." I love how it looks very documentary at first than rushes into a fictional movie. This movie seemed so real but you knew it was fake but this movie blew me the hell away. I have to say I hated the humans in this movie and the aliens now seem so harmless. All in all a good film.

A fantastic thoroughly entertaining sci fi movie all the way through. This is what I call an original film. It has about everything you could want from a movie like this, it has enough action and originality and great acting from the lead Sharlto Copley. I think this was Neill Blomkamp's debut into directing a film and he sure made a damn good job at crafting a science fiction masterpiece. The visuals are outstanding and top notch all the way through and there was never a time where they looked fake, they looked realistic and the documentary style at the beginning added a sense of realism to the film. This is one of my favorite sci fi films of all time and everybody that loves movies should at least experience this once in their lifetime.
