V for Vendetta faithfully tells the story by Alan Moore and captivates it's audience with it's messages. I would even argue the movie tells the story better than the original graphic novel by Alan Moore. Ironically, Alan Moore hated this adaption, probably because the movie's better than his novel.

For some reason, I have an urge to watch this every other day. From the action scenes to the social commentary, this movie satisfies my entertainment needs.

"V for Vendetta takes place in an alternate vision of Britain in which a corrupt and abusive totalitarian government has risen to complete power." Alternate vision of Britain? Lol! More like very near future vision of Britain.
