A riveting spy thriller with a heart. Howard Kaplan and Daniel Berk take us on a serpentine journey from Berlin to Jerusalem to Damascus, winding deeper and deeper until its explosive finale.

The serviceable but astonishingly generic Damascus Cover features the usual political-thriller tropes — tough but haunted protagonist, zigzag of foreign locales, rival spies, arcane twists, shifting allegiances, wedged-in romance — without adding much that feels unique or exciting.

All star cast in this exciting spy thriller. I loved it! Howard Kaplan wrote a terrific and interesting novel and Daniel Berk turned it into a great film. Lost of twists, great characters and story line. Beautiful locations and cinematography. We premiered it to a sold out audience at the LA Jewish Film Festival and it was a hit The audience is the BEST CRITIC. If you like James Bond or Jason Bourne film, you'll love DAMASCUS COVER!!

Setting and performances aside, Damascus Cover is a forgettable spy thriller that bulldozes over its real-life relevance in favour of shoehorned romance and hackneyed characters. Less Mission: Impossible; more ‘Mission: Thrown Out The Window’.
