Delving in creation and questions of human existence, this is probably my favorite sci-fi film. The absolutely beautiful style throughout brings Steven Soderbergh to Film God status instantly. I can't begin to tell you how in love with the visuals I am.

With solid direction and fine acting, the film expertly performs it's duty in that it transcends the issues in a science v. spirituality discussion that it presents to the viewer. I found myself examining my own struggle with it rather than the characters, which made the climax of the film appear to have no obvious resolution even after the fact. The Russian origional delivers just as deep of a mental impact, but obviously in a whole different style.

I love this movie. Its really just a love story with a science fiction background. Clooney's acting was not only superb but he bared his pefect bottom to the world. Its a breath taking view. Second time seeing the coward from Saving Private Ryan and the black mother from Doubt.
