Still fascinating and deeply thought-provoking in my 3rd watch. Probably too cumbersome & sleep-inducing for the average moviegoers, but I delight myself with the hypnotically-paced plot, unsettling ethical/philosophical questions (albeit only touched superficially due to the short running time), and amazing psychological depth. The mysterious, minimalist soundtrack is a great plus too. Remains my favourite sci-fi movie next to Contact.

A very good, and thought provoking film. I did not find it boring or laborious in any way. The performances were great, and it really got me thinking. The camera took a life of its own, and Soderbergh has a great style. I am really interested in the original film.

Masterpiece. Different (and better) than Tarkovski's original.

I love this movie. Its more of a love story with a science fiction background. Clooney's acting was not only superb but he bared his pefect bottom to the world. Its a breath taking view. Second time seeing the coward from Saving Private Ryan and the black mother from Doubt.
