Jeffrey Wrights portrayal of Basquiat is absolutely perfect, and David Bowie as Warhol is brilliant. This film draws you in to the New York art scene in the 60's and the symbolism is glorious.

A visual masterpiece, comparable to that of FRIDA, in regards to an artist's perspective on the world around them. Captivating supporting roles from an all-star cast. The performances radiate such honest heart and soul, moving both to the characters in the story and the audience watching.
