Always Shine is a fantastic thriller for two-thirds of its runtime, ending with a ballsy third act as admirable in its ambition as it is narratively frustrating.

Alex Garofalo 01 May 2016

Always Shine is a potent statement on gender and femininity, disguised as an avant-garde thriller.

Chris Nashawaty 01 Dec 2016

Davi M 31 Dec 2016

A taut and compelling psychological thriller about women, actresses, and Hollywood. A simple script anchored by two stellar lead performances.

Erika W. Smith 02 Dec 2016
