I think the pacing with this movie was all wrong. Other than that, this was a fairly decent movie. Some nice plot twists and funny at times but also very sad when you think about it. Great acting from everyone, especially Chris Cooper.

a wonderfully-executed look at right and wrong and the confusing ordeals of love. pierce brosnan's narration makes this, and chris cooper is fantastic.

It's always weird how decent films with great casts seem to float by under the radar sometimes. This was a perfect Sunday afternoon film. Rachel McAdams is adorable as always. Pierce Brosnan and Patricia Clarkson seem perenially underrated to me. They work steadily, but you have to go out of your way to find the stuff they're in.

I loved this film. I always love seeing a new Chris Cooper performance, he brings such an authority to every role he has. And Pierce Brosnan is a new revelation in every role post-Bond too! He's great here. The women are good too, but this is really the men's show. The plot is good too, with a couple of neat twists. A very well made and hugely enjoyable film!

Talk about a dark dramedy! Slow moving, but not boring for a moment. Chris Cooper in a pitch perfect performance. Simple story, no big twists but gives a good insight into infidelity.
