Zu Warriors (2001)

King Sky, the sole disciple of the Kun Lun Sect, falls in love with his master Dawn. Dawn is killed when Insomnia destroys the Kin Lun Mountain. Full of special effects and beautifully done.

The dubbed version, which is apparently also missing 20 minutes of footage, is on Netflix. As usual, the dubbing is awful. This version makes little sense and plays like an episode of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. The effects are better than average, but the story is so choppy it just becomes all flash. Even the talented Zhang Ziyi can't save this.

the plot line was hard to understand dialogue lacking. but the art work and cgi used with kungfu was just incredible. a work of art despite the script.
