What keeps it all from becoming high camp is the film’s eerie atmosphere and unsettling childlike quality, which sucks the viewer into a nightmarish alternate reality with such plainspoken innocence that we have no choice but to accept it at face value.

Anyone with the name Slausen sounds like they should be a bowling alley manager

This movie very unique and really stands out in the Slasher Sub Genre in Horror, the supernatural killer has an awesome voice, the dinner scene is very comedic and I enjoyed it a lot, and the the sound design of the kills is phenominal and haunting! This one movie people should definitely check out! It's even one of Stephen King's favorites! Expand
