Horrible, just horrible. Score is excellent but the songs are second rate, as are the comedy bits. Did love the Red Skeleton bit though. Best watched for the Kelly/Astaire number and for 'Limehouse Blues' a phenomenal depressing Astaire number. Rest is forgettable.

It would be more entertaining if it wasn't so hit or miss. Some were great like Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire's dance, or Judy Garland's satire of Hollywood stars. But then there were some just uninspired, boring numbers or sketches.

Fred and Gene together...awesome! Other sketches were pretty good, and some were weird and boring.

This movie doesn't exactly have a story, it's more of a showcase of song and dance numbers starring many great actors. A nice picture of the Ziegfeld Follies.
