No puedo creer que no habÃa hecho el review de esta cinta! Ciertamente e indiscutiblemente una de mis favoritas! Maravillosa producciÃ³n de Steven Spielberg, brillante direcciÃ³n de Barry Levinson y un impecable guiÃ³n de Chris Columbus que ahora viendola de nuevo, luego de su trabajo en Harry Potter, es innegable la influencia de esta cinta en la forma de presentar a los personajes en Potter. Un muy valioso aporte a la saga de Sherlock Holmes, donde aunque no sigue la lÃnea de las novelas, es una entrega entretenida e inteligente que logra aportar a nutrir el universo del mejor detective de la historia literaria. Altamente recomendada y sobre todo que cuando la vean, observen todos los creditos finales, ya que tiene una escena final que para los verdaderos fans de Sherlock Holmes, viene a cambiar todo el concepto de la historia de la pelÃcula.

My favourite movie adaption of Sherlock Holmes, despite not been one of Conan Doyle's original stories. But still, this is a faithfully told story of Sherlock Homes and Watson as young boys. Watching this is different experience from the books and good in its own way. In this Sherlock Holmes must uncover evil cult in the streets of and once he gets on to the case, he and Watson go on their first big epic adventure. For Sherlock Homes and adventure film fans and this is a classic film in its own right.

I don't know why I've never heard of this one. It's quite a fun movie; well written and acted and with some genuinely creepy hallucination SFX.
