I thought I had bad memories about MI or MI2, but hoped I'd got it wrong. I didn't, I just don't think the plots are very good in these films. I got to the end, but don't really know why I bothered

The perfect summer movie -- fast-paced, action-packed, emotionally engaging (without demanding too much investment), and pure, unadulterated eye candy. Whattya want for 10 bucks?

Being J.J. Abrams' first motion picture, this film delivered with incredible action, and also served as an excellent psychological thriller. Philip Seymour Hoffman's performance is the best of any villain so far, and Abrams' direction is the best of a beginner I've ever seen. 5/5

Not only is this movie just as good as the first two, but I would even say it was my favorite.
