Gritty, grimy, and deep, "Se7en" is a psychological masterpiece.

Se7en is the perfect detective thriller and an excellent study on human behavior and insanity. The performances are fantastic and the film is paced well. There is just as much commentary on the lives of the protagonists and their families as there is on the murders and the awful villain played exceptionally by Kevin Spacey. The camerawork and editing are brilliant and the scenes are set up wonderfully. Se7en is a fantastic movie in its ability to stimulate ethos, logos, and pathos, all while providing an entertaining ride and some of Morgan Freeman's best lines.

The stormy, sooty, blackened unnamed city in David Fincher's murder mystery feels a little like hell-infested with cretins, sinners, and pretty boys with a death wish-and that sure makes me think Se7en is one of the foremost horror movies of modern times.

A great and intense film that will make your eyes dry. The plot is brilliant and the pacing kept me thrilled. The actors are superb. I lose my head in the end. This is insane.

Great cop thriller. Alot of detective movies tend to annoy with alot of predictable endings but Seven's unique plot blows that out of proportion. the term of seven relates to seven deadly sins which is main plot of the whole movie, which sets a mystery, kept my eyes glued to the screen to see its final outcome. which is shockingly well done. Cleverly done. very enjoyable to watch. with alot of twists and turns. Seven is superb
