YellowBrickRoad (2010)

In the Fall of 1940, the entire population of Friar, New Hampshire walked together up a winding mountain trail and into the wilderness. Without warning, they left behind everything: their homes, their clothes, and their money. The only clue where they went was a single word etched into stone near the forest's edge: YELLOWBRICKROAD.

It has a neat premise, and some moments are intensely disturbing, but it can't stick the landing; the ultimate resolution doesn't even come close to paying off the creepy buildup, and the proceedings become more grating than frightening down the homestretch.

An easy film to dismiss right away out of frustration from a somewhat half-baked ending, but it is those unanswered questions coupled with some disturbing imagery that, like any significant nightmare, may keep you haunted for days.

No such place as Friar NH, but doesn't make it any less intense. The ending is left up to interpretation and is not very well explained at all

I love a good horror/ thriller but never in my life have I watched such a pointless film. It didn't give any indication or reason for the music being in it... It Didn't really explain what was making everyone go crazy... Made it seem like it was the "spirits" of the dead from the 1040's but it wasn't clear. It went in circles and had no conclusion at all. I wouldn't recommend this film to anyone
