Storaro's cinematography is incredible and Winslet might just give the performance of her career in "Wonder Wheel."

The elements do not meld organically, feeling self-conscious and calculated instead.

Brian Orndorf 08 Dec 2017

Amazingly unlikable and, periodically, unendurable.

The film is fine, romantically lit and beautifully shot (like many Allen films), but isn't nearly effective as, say, Allen's last great film--Blue Jasmine.
