This movie is amazing. Beyond the obvious satire it has so many exceptional merits. Nuanced messages, like the 90s are in fact more moral in every way compared to the nostalgically utopian 50s, make this an impeccable example of filmmaking. The directing and writing is fantastic. Acting is excellent. Even the score, by Randy Newman, can be appreciated more than most movies. Amazing.

Takes the term "feel good movie" to pleasent new heights, watching it in todays society brings a sense of hope to all the judging and wars. RIP JT Walsh and warm kudus to Maguire, Daniels and especially Joan Allen.

I love this movie. I went into the theatre expecting too see a light comedy and instead was blown away by the intensity of the film that begins to build about halfway through. It's a great allegory for racism and any kind of discrimination, and it also knows when to have fun.
