My least favourite of all claude and dolf looked old and the special effects well if i was epileptic i'd be in a coma by now!!!! Only got good near end which is when i began to understand what the hell was going on!!!

Consider this a public service announcement: Folks who have a problem with onscreen flesh-hacking - or the fact that franchise stars Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren aren't in the movie all that much - should stay home.

Story line with a twist at the end. Intense fight scenes with a dark look and feel to the movie. By far the best Universal Soldier movie from the series.

For a film that should feel as if it came off a conveyer belt, "Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning" may struggle with its origins as much as its characters, but ultimately transcends them to become something revelatory for its entire genre.
