I'm a huge Van Damme fan, but honestly it has been many years since he has had a good release (besides Expendables 2)...but A DAY OF RECKONING has arrived, and I was anything but disappointed. The film is a dark action packed gore fest...one word to put it all in summary...BADASS

I never thought that this would be as good as it was, but I'll be damned if it wasn't a damn fine action movie with more going on behind the scenes. Gorey, brutal, and interesting. Who'd've thunk it???

A highly eccentric and unusual film. It reminds me of a bizarre mix of VIDEODROME and a generic Van Damme film. Bleak and claustrophobic, but well worth seeing.

Consider this a public service announcement: Folks who have a problem with onscreen flesh-hacking - or the fact that franchise stars Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren aren't in the movie all that much - should stay home.
