Suffering from acute kidney failure, Boonmee has chosen to spend his final days surrounded by his loved ones in the countryside. Surprisingly, the ghost of his deceased wife appears to care for him, and his long lost son returns home in a non-human form. I very special film... I saw it alone...with headphones....I was tired, but open-minded..... and I loved it. If your world and mind is black and white....and you need potato to every dinnermeal....if you cant imagine beyond life and death....then drop this film....... But if you are looking for film that you will remember....See this one.

For some, Uncle Boonmee represents a contemplating and original take on life, death and wonderfully atmospheric; for others, it's painfully and punishingly slow paced and entirely plotless. I'm in the former, even though it's impossible or very difficult to understand it's controversial ending. Christopher Nolan tested our minds with his multi-layered dream take "Inception", Director Weerasethakul invented a new era of cinema, testing the audience to feel the dreamy and different perspective of a human life.
