Bryan Cranston was truly amazing. This is the biggest surprise Movie for me this year. And actually my favorite film so far this year. It has all the making of a wonderful film brilliantly shot great costumes funny sad and truly entertaining. Great acting by all a definite must-see for any film buff out there. I can't stress this enough go see this movie if you have the opportunity.

This movie has more relevance today than it has in a long long time. Our country is so polarized and some people have the kind of fear and hatred that the country had during this time period. Wasn't mentioned during the film but it was this period historically when our pledge of allegiance was changed to mention God where is previously had not, In God We Trust was added to currency. To keep these reminders of what was an ugly time in our countries history, where people were locked up for their beliefs - we tout ourselves land of the free and home of the brave but have reminders of a time when we ran our country in a way that is not at all indicative of that.

It's hard to watch this movie and compare it to today's events: The cold-war "commie" witch-hunts are chillingly parallel to today's demonization of Muslims and illegal immigrants. A powerful and important story.
