I suppose it's a wonderful movie if you happen to love Rembrandt's work, but I didn't find it interesting at all.

Apart form all the other things Greenaway did right in Nightwatching check how he carefully reconstructs the painting's style and texture with the movie's lighting and multi-character scenes. Masterpiece!

Greenaway films are definitely NOT for everyone, but man they are amazing to look at.
