It's much better than the critics are telling you.

A great comedy or dramedy director, lately Woody Allen has been only hitting the high notes with his dramas. This is an example of a movie in which Allen decides to examine our society's moral compass. What if you could get away with murder and make all your dreams come true? But them again, can you really get away with murder? The directing is flawless, the acting is superb and the movie will create great conversation long after you've seen it. This is the kind of film that makes me happy to go to the cinema.

This is an impressive performance by E.McGregor and C.Farrell in the role of two brothers who turn to murder in the belief this can solve their financial problems. W. Allen enjoys to play with human nature again to show how ordinary people may decide to do something extraordinary to pursue their dreams; Cassandra had the gift of prophecy with the attached curse that no one would ever believe her prediction; similarly, the two brothers fail to predict the consequences of their acts.

Subtle and reminiscent of Allen's earlier work...plus, Farrell is actually great as the more timid brother!

General Kenobe the negotiator. lol Colin Farel was a punk in this movie but it was still good. Twisted Ending.
