Colourful and cute in places, but grown-up fans of the older series will mourn for the days of Ringo Starr's voiceover... and the quaintness of Sodor

The usual feature length Thomas stuff. Good fun, catchy tunes, all the kids' favourite characters. If you want something more meaningful and worthy of a critic's time and effort, don't waste your time with this...but if you have children who enjoy these movies as my two do, it's well worth popping along to cinema. Oh, and it's got Peter Andre in it, who's Australian accent initially caused me to say "they could've at least got an Aussie to play that part!". It's not a great movie by any stretch but what are you really expecting?
