this movie is one of my tops, it looks great, its fun, and it has a heart to which you want to make a part of your own... its what you do that matters than what your made to! Go Speed Go!

I've read lots of negative reviews of this movie. I don't know what movie those people were watching, but it wasn't Speed Racer. This movie is an almost perfect family movie, with lots of colors and action for the kids, with enough drama to keep the adults engaged full into the 2 hours+ length. In many ways, this is a coming-of-age movie about a young boy living his dream who learns that when no one else will support you, you can always turn to family. Great action, great comedy, and awesome effects worthy of a Matrix follow-up. Kudos to the Wachowski's. I can't wait to see what else they come up with!

I was never a fan of the speed racer cartoon, but the movie blew me away. Every time there was a race I was on the edge of my seat, even though I knew it was as far fetched as it could get, I loved it all the same.

VERY GOOD THIS FILM! GOOD PLOT (MORE SMARTER THAN IN THE SERIES), VERY FUNNY SCENES, AND HIRSCH AND MATTHEW FOX MADE GREAT ROLES IN THIS MOVIE! BUT, ABOUT SPECIAL EFFECTS, NOT BAD!

The people who don't like this have never seen the cartoon and just don't get it. If you've seen the cartoon, this movie makes sense is is really cool. Plus the CGI is awesome!
