A beautiful must see Australian film. Words cannot describe the beauty and tragedy captured in this film.

Part of why this resonates with me is the portrayal of the loneliness of parts of Australia, the coming-of-age story, difficult love/attraction, and the small adventures that seem so big to those involved. Flirting was almost as good. I do wish Duigan would complete the trilogy, though sadly, this doesn't seem to be happening. That being the case, I wish they were novels so I could read (and re-read) all three in full.
