My Dad produced this film and it was nominated for Best Picture in the Cable Ace Awards as well as winning Best Cinematography. It's a really good re-make of the classic original. Val Kilmer is great as is Sonia Braga and Billy Bob Thornton makes one of his first screen appearances in this film.

I really enjoyed this film. Im not a huge Val Kilmer fan but he was really good here, didn't over act the role. Based on real live events. Story.
