One of the most romantic movies ever captured on film, "The Way We Were" benefits from its incredible stars Redford and Streisand are at their best - the chemistry between them is electrifying. Pollack's direction also lends realism and nostalgia to the project, and in the end you can't deny the movie's magic.

This is the movie for a girl night! Find it a bit sad at the end. Barbra Streisand and Robert Redford are simply divine (especially Robert Redford in uniform ;-)).

Classic romance. And Robert Redford is absolutely GORGEOUS in this film.

Just about the most depressing and real movie. I have not cried this hard in years- if ever. It is a true tale of love.
