Spellbinding and Compelling! It stirred emotions to my core and my mind raced during this film.The subtlety of the acting made the horrific event all the more compelling. The actual stoning made me feel as if in the crowd and then, suddenly, I was Soraya. It was unbelievable.Too powerful for tears!

Stoning of Soraya is a deep and powerful film that will move you. The acting, the atmosphere, the themes and most importantly the message all blend together to create a must-see movie, the likes of which I haven't seen on the screen in years. I highly recommend this film for anyone and everyone.

It's not hate, it's the truth. I think you should watch this and tell the world how nefarious the injustice for most men in the Islamic world. Let me tell you: if this practice still exists today (I believe they do mostly), it's like storming the United Nations building just for a change. To the Islamic men in Iran, Ana Baker, her friends and her classmates of Maiden Erlegh School: I know you can't understand what we are saying but I have few words for you: Leave them alone! Cut that nonsense and admit your guilt or Allah will strike you to death. You must learn their rights and passion. Do not use Islam as a weapon of hate and destruction. And for non-Muslims especially to those names mentioned above, learn their cultures so that you will not regret it for the rest of your life. This movie is a work of art.
