Exceptional and High ranking, not only does this movie give us an intricate perspective of these lonely women, but both Blanchet and Dench give a performance so Great that compliments the book ever being published. Truly and movie of Recomendation!

Now I love a good drama & with a cast like Blanchett, Dench & Nighy it would be very hard to fuck it up, so I'm glad to say it was brilliant. The editing was spot on & the Dench did good. She was utterly scary and Cate played off of her brilliantly. I think this is Judi's best movie to date & she should have got the Oscar for such a complex character.

this is an EXTREMELY taut script, WONDERFUL music (Philip Glass!!), and UNBELIEVABLY IMMACULATE acting from Cate Blanchett and Dame Judi Dench. I am just shocked and at a loss for words. Wow. This movie had me cringing, dying, and cringing again. I felt so BAD for Dench's character AND blanchett's, and at the SAME TIME hated them. Wow... It's flawless
