By Man Ray. An art piece with modernistic aesthetics driven alongside the Surrealist movement. Very pretty to the eyes and ears.

Man Ray shoots through distorted glass to create an interesting impressionistic, almost mosaic effect. There's kind of a narrative here, but still pretty well-seated in surrealism. I didn't care for the snatches of poetry, even though that's what inspired the film. Scenes of newspaper dancing in the wind pre-dates American Beauty by some 70 years.

More Dada wankery. This time through a distorted camera lens. Proves what at first seems ugly is also beautiful.

Un sueño expresado fantásticamente. Atrapante, hipnotizante, encantadora.

24.1.2011 Pure cinema - you could create an artwork like this only using this form. The dream-like mood is created not only by using shot focus and smeared-like imagery, but also through editing. It has a strange atmosphere of something constantly elusive.
