This film has consistent shortcomings with talented young actors "playing" with mental illness types, Dev Patel bringing his usual goofy kinetic energy. Robert Sheehan uncharacteristically over-the-top, and Zoe Kravitz getting away with crap nobody would for long in a mental health facility. I blame writer/director Gren Wells. Obviously the script is flawed, and that causes this potentially strong road-trip premise to come off as run-of-the-mill and predictable.

becauise we are laughing at the severe issues of Anorexia, Tourettes and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, the first several minutes of this movie are uncomfortable. But when you let go and just let the story play itself out, it is actually a wonderful tale of 3 people discovering their own paths out of misery. But it also is not a picture perfect ending where everyone walks away unscathed or healed. This is a charming film with depth and humor. Seriously, how can one not laugh at a tourettes victim and an obsessive compulsive sharing an apartment in a facility designed to help them. I think the professional reviewers were just too afraid to laugh because of the sensitive nature of the subject matter. This is much better than the 33% tomatometer!

Slightly confused how to feel about this one, it's supposed to be a comedy but I feel bad for laughing at it? These are serious afflictions that affect people and though it may look funny to an outsider, a battle for normalcy is raging inside that person's mind.

A very very good movie, it was funny not too shady and had just the right cast... pinpoint characters and a cheesy storyline..again wc cld have been perfected but it was strong.. serious when it needed 2 be and very modern..Zoey n Robbie did really impress here ..i will give this a generous 7.5 out of 10
