Not sure what it was about this movie but it had me laughing so hard.

Hands down favorite film of 2016. Shane Black is completely in his element in the buddy-cop genre he helped create decades ago. His plots are pure pulp: twisty, turn-ey, and nearly inconsequential to the amazing ride you go on. Also, it proves to the distress of most men everywhere that Gosling can do it all. He's absolutely hilarious through and through this whole movie. For me, he should've been nominated for this over 'La La Land'.

wow! what an under the radar classic..... 1970s style action, mystery, but tons of great humor. this movie flies by..... one you'd actually want to see a sequel for! awesome stuff, a better version of .... gasp.... midnight run!

Black comedy buddy film at its best, the nice guys effectively uses its two leads in Crowe and Gosling, creating a fun and sometimes quite exciting detective film.
