This is Brando's first film and I enjoyed. yes, it's a little melodramatic at times, Brando plays a paraplegic and the film focuses on his recovery and relationship. The film is rewarding though, and Brando is excellent. Definitely worth a watch, and it looks great on Blu-ray!

Marlon again:) This was really eye-opening and inspiring because Marlon plays a paraplegic who is headstrong and full of emotions...some parts you just want to cry!

Easily better then that Street Car movie everyone always talks about.

Useful only for its historical value; its dated plot developments make this a long haul otherwise.
