This is beautiful and delicate drama from Isabel Coixet. The purposeful pace and timing of information was exquisite, as were the performances; another example that Sarah Polley (when given a good enough character) is one of the worlds most talented actresses. Moody, funny, uplifting, impactful.

5 stars - not only for : - the marvellous narration, -the depth of mystery until the very end, - the heart-crushing-saddness , - the truth of the story, - as well as for the wonderful, only possible (!), desired (almost sorely) end... ...but also for the ingenious Sarah Polley! But be aware that this is not an "easy" film - nor a romantic comedy...

One of the most touching movies ive ever seen. And i was crying my eyes out ... and Tim Robbins maked me speechless...he is really a great actor. Have seen it over and over again...
