Un capolavoro assoluto di scrittura cinematografica e regia sulla paura di vivere nell'anonimato. Bellissimo il discorso dell'avvocato sul principio di indeterminatezza di Heisenberg. Billy Bob Thornton straordinario.

Oh...my...god. This film is a masterpiece in all ways that are fit. The film is visually stunning. I am a sucker for noir films and this film is perfect with its low key lighting with dark shadows, deep contrasts. Its amazing. The story is classic. Frances McDormand looks amazing in this film and Billy Bob's performance as the classical nior anti-hero reject is dead on. The entire film is a magnificent piece. Once again the Coens achieved success, in my opinion. Great film. Must buy.

Maybe it's just the fact that it's the plot is so flashy or the fact that it's shot so well, but this is really just undeniably amazing to watch. I think it's the best that Billy Bob Thorton has ever been, I love him in it. Even though it's a throwback to Noir, it feels like you got something new with this. Again I have to mention the cinematography because it is just flawless. This is probably the best and true example of Neo-Noir because it uses all of the old devices. The voice-over, double crossing characters, sex and morality is all there. Joel Coen directed a masterpiece and a true ode to the genre.
