The Lost Valentine (2011)

A young and cynical female journalist learns love may transcend trials and time as she discovers a story that will change her life forever. When war separates lovers on their wedding anniversary Feb. 14, 1944 at LA Union Train Station, Navy pilot Neil Thomas makes a promise he isn't sure he can keep - to return to the train station safe by their next anniversary. For sixty years Caroline Thomas keeps her promise by waiting at the train station until her missing in action husband can finally keep his with the "lost valentine." Weepy war romance film. Some good romance parts but didnt really like the characters (although think the gran is the gran with the meatballs from The Wedding Singer) and the ending is incredibly long and drawn out.

great love story about a women whose husband goes to war, and ends up being missing in action. every valentine's day she goes to the train station and waits for him to come back. well 60 years later jennifer love hewitt is a reporter that does a story on her and ends up finding out what happened to the husband and his body gets sent back home.

I was impressed with this Hallmark movie, but even more surprising was the fact that Jennifer Love Hewitt was okay in this part. The romance was very sweet and the ending was beautiful.
