A young and cynical female journalist learns love may transcend trials and time as she discovers a story that will change her life forever. When war separates lovers on their wedding anniversary Feb. 14, 1944 at LA Union Train Station, Navy pilot Neil Thomas makes a promise he isn't sure he can keep - to return to the train station safe by their next anniversary. For sixty years Caroline Thomas keeps her promise by waiting at the train station until her missing in action husband can finally keep his with the "lost valentine." Jennifer Love Hewitt is actress wonderful and beautiful. This movie is great and Betty Whyte is a free!

This was a surprising movie for me! I'm an avid horror fan and every now and then I like to take a break and watch other genres and this was something I took a chance on; mainly to see Betty White and I wasn't disappointed! I may not be an expert on the romance genre; but this was a wonderful story which was well presented, had interesting characters and a rather warm yet sad feel! It was really quite a great view!

so I think this movie was absolutely amazing and its too bad it was only made for tv because it tells the story of a true and everliving love and had me in tears the whole time

Not in any sense an award-winning type of film, just A sweet, touching, beautiful story that honours the promise of love & commitment to serve one's country in war. Some might shed a tear or two, so a tissue would be handy.
