Great Movie!!! Can a man redeem himself??? On the Waterfront is an excellent film. Its up there with my favorites!!!

One of the greatest movies of all time, with the greatest ACTOR of all time, and one of the most famous lines in movie history... "You don't understand, I coulda had class. I coulda been a contender. I coulda been somebody...instead of a bum, which is what I am."

One of Marlon Brando's best if not the best performace he has ever given. This is a crime movie that has easily stood the test of time thanks to the superb acting and the fabulous screenplay by Budd Schulberg. Even though the only aspect of the film that feels aged is the ending, mostly due to the subject that doesn't relate to present times, this is as close to perfect as films get. A true cinematic masterpiece.
