Timothy Dalton brings a more serious bond to the screen, a lot more Cloak and Dagger spy action, Jeroen Krabbé plays the fake KGB defector well, Maryam d'Abo makes you glad bond didnt kill her when he thought she was an enemy sniper.

With the Cold War winding down, James Bond's (Timothy Dalton) adventures are just warming up. Lured by a Russian defector into a case of high-tech espionage, Bond finds himself at odds with a maniacal American arms dealer (Joe Don Baker) who leads him on a trail across some of the most exotic locales on the globe. Along the way, Bond makes the acquaintance of a knockout Czech concert cellist (Maryam D'Abo), with whom he makes beautiful music. also stars Robert Brown, Caroline Bliss, Desmond Llewelyn, Jeroen Krabe, Art Malik, John Rhys-Davies, Thomas Wheatley and Andreas Wisniewski. directed by John Glen.

The Living Daylights introduces us to a very new, very serious Bond portrayed by Timothy Dalton; and it's brilliant! Everything about this movie works. The acting is great, the action sequences are thrilling, and the story is captivating. The re-imaging of Bond in this film with a more serious take is excellent. The more light hearted comedic days of Roger Moore are passed over to a much darker 007. Timothy Dalton has always been one of my absolute favorite Bonds if not my favorite one, and he pulls off the role incredibly. He looks great in the action scenes and suave in the romantic ones. His line delivery is spot on, and while portraying a much more serious side to the character, still delivers some great one liners. The villains in this movie are also worthy of mention as they all (henchmen included) are great. One appearing in a different role in a future flick. Again, from top to bottom this is an awesome 007 adventure and a must watch for any Bond fan.
