Peterson is a maniac--this is a conclusion that, as he's portrayed by Hardy, one can reach pretty objectively. The beauty of the whole 90 minute affair is that by the end we come dangerously close to understanding where this guy is coming from. I could watch Tom Hardy do this all day.

Bronson is based on the true story of Britain's most violent prisoner, Michael Peterson, who later transforms himself into Charles Bronson. Tom Hardy is the leading actor and does an incredible job of playing the erratic criminal who simply loves to fight. Bronson loves fighting prison guards. The prison eventually gave up and sent him to a looney bin. After a major mishap at the looney bin, they declared him "sane" and sent him back to prison. He's spent 34 years behind bars, 30 of them have been in solitary confinement. This movie is highly entertaining. Tom Hardy continues to amaze me with his acting abilities and the fact that Charles Bronson is a real person blows my mind. The guy is completely crazy and fascinating.

Nicolas Winding Refn proves himself once again a master of the art of visual storytelling, using a sense similar to that of Kubrick to create a stylish, violent, yet wholly pure look at the life of a relentlessly aggressive man and develop such a persons anger and pointless need for action into an artistic metaphor for the search of fame or perhaps the eradication of boredom. With a performance from Tom Hardy that still remains to be one of his most powerful.

This might be my favorite Nicholas Winding Refn film, it's ether this movie or Drive, but anyway, Bronson was amazing, I loved almost everything about this movie, I thought Tom hardy gave one of his best "if not the best" performances of his career, Nicholas directed this movie to perfection, I have not seen a Nicholas Winding Refn film that I have not liked and I've seen Only God Forgives which people hate on for some reason.
