What a remarkable woman. Her strength and courage is unbeatable. On the other hand, what pure evil is in this world. The dictatorship military government slaying hundreds of innocent, peaceful people. What right does anyone have to kill these people? The injustices or our world. And the international world could see what was happening...........why did they not put more pressure on Burma to stop their oppression?

An excellent film on the life of Ang San Suu Kyi, a courageous woman who stands up for democracy in her country all the way, despite all what she has to endure: house arrest for more than a decade and separation from her family. Ang San Suu Kyi's life can only spark admiration! A must see!

The so called 'critics' may bomb it but i loved it. I cried so much when i watched it today. It was touching on how much the people suffered and how she kept facing obstacles everywhere she turned. It kind of reflected my country in a way so perhaps i could relate? Like how in the movie the army came and stopped her talks when just a month ago my own military force went all out against protesters who wanted a clean and fair election. Those who live in good times may not be able to fully comprehend the horror so those 'famous critics' who grow fat in their hollywood pay won't understand nuts. But for those of us who can sense it lurking in our own country, this movie portrays our darkest fears of how life could actually be like and what it may be like in the future.
