Great to see a movie being made about an issue before it is concluded in the real world, it leaves you aggravated, but more importantly, informed.

Remember, this is a film about courage, endurance and sacrifice, not oppression, inspiration or sensitivity. Luc Besson doesn't made this a compelling or epic tale it is suppose to be. Michelle Yeah does delivered her best to be Aung San Suu Kyi, at least does look like her.

This time, though, the happy ending plays out in real life, while the screen version falls afoul of a laggardly pace, an earnest tone and a surfeit of domesticity.
