Michelle Yeoh didn't act in this movie. But she was Aung San Suu Kyi.

Did the critics watch the same movie as me? This is a stirring story of sacrifice and bravery in the face of oppression. The real stories are always the most powerful.

Beautiful, important, moving and timely given Suu Kyi's party's win in the 2012 Burmese by-election.

Harrowing yet moving true story of Aung San Suu Kyi, told brilliantly by Luc Besson, and played faultlessly by Michelle Yeoh. As much a tale of romance as of political endeavor, but thought provoking none the less, recommended...

Simply phenomenon. Michelle Yeoh has succinctly put across the messages that Aung San Suu Kyi hopes to convey, and I got it. An everlasting struggle for Democracy in Burma must continue.
