A wonderful find! And Lee is famous for taking his time really build a story, and while it took about a half hour to really get into the story and figure out what was going on, it was well worth it! Truly a beautiful film. It's rare to find a film that deals with the erotic in such a genuine, heart-breaking way. Beautifully shot, and wonderful ending!

Lust, Caution was made into a full-length feature from a teeny, tiny story. Gorgeous period costumes. Although explicit, the very heavy sexual tension between the love triangle of younger man, girl, and older man is intense, as is the extremely intense sex scenes between Leung's character and Joan Chen's. But it's all interpretive of art, and the rising intensity of the lust and love in the movie.

Perhaps the most important rebuke ever filmed; a must-see.

Ang Lee can do no wrong as far as I'm concerned. This is about the Chinese resistance in 1942 Shanghai and is one of the best 2007 movies, I think.
