Why are American films completely incapable of making a sexy adult drama/thriller like this that does not find itself turning into an expensive, A-list serial killer or stalker/slasher movie?

Basically predictable and superficially engaging. The ending is marked by the genre's hysterical obsession with female/ family shame which feels extreme to American viewers. Finally, the epilogue adds the flavor of the absurd, which you never see coming!

A Korean erotic thriller with a very promising opening scene. Despite Jeon Do-yeon's great acting and interesting plot, it's not excellent due to its disappointing ending.
