The Good Guy (2009)

Ambitious young Manhattanite and urban conservationist Beth wants it all: a good job, good friends, and a good guy to share the city with. Of course that last one is often the trickiest of all. Beth falls hard for Tommy, a sexy, young Wall Street hot-shot. But just as everything seems to be falling into place, complications arise in the form of Tommy's sensitive and handsome co-worker Daniel. Beth soon learns that the game of love in the big city is a lot like Wall Street -- high risk, high reward and everybody has an angle.

Worth the watch just because of the two beauties Alexis Bledel and Anna Chlumsky, I love those girls! Girl crush! So, yeah, I am a bit biased here. This is an okay movie, it doesn't really have that much to say, and it's definitely not innovative, but it's not that bad. With that being said, it is a chick flick and it doesn't have any really good actors - see it as what it is, don't expect too much from it. It is, on the other hand, surprising, with several twists and turns you didn't really see coming. Great as easy entertainment on a Sunday.

watch this if you find Wall Street wankers amusing.

I enjoyed it. A lot. I also have a minor crush on Bryan Greenberg. But as a single girl in NYC, I found it head on. I do think that Alexis Bledel plays this role too much, though.

An entertaining rom-com on an evening with nothing much to do. Kept me occupied for an hour or so...
