A young British officer resigns his post when he learns of his regiment's plan to ship out to the Sudan for the conflict with the Mahdi. His friends and fiancée send him four white feathers as symbols of what they view as his cowardice. To redeem his honor, he disguises himself as an Arab and secretly saves their lives.

This movie is sooooo good!! Heath, once again, shows what an incredibly powerful actor he truly was. No movie since "The Color Purple" premiered, has ever made me cry the way this one did! This movie is worth buying before you try it.

I actually really like this period piece. Heath Ledger was very good and the battle scenes were really good. Worth a couple views.

So moving!!! All the performances are excellent. You can't fault Heath Ledger, Kate Hudsen or Wes Bentley, they did a fantastic job!!! Made me cry!

This is one of the best movies I have ever seen! It has everything: love, action, chivelry... the list goes on! This is a great movie to choose if your are trying to find a movie for sevral defferent people!
