Chrostophobic themed drama has an impressive ensemble cast delivering memorable performances across a series of interconnected short stories set across 40's 50's and 60's Tennessee Americana. Very good cinematography and soundtrack and yet the dark themes didn't quite resonate with me as much as I'd hope mostly in part with the constant need to kill someone every 10 mins or so. High body count aside this was an enjoyable watch from start to finish.

As an radical atheist, this movie absolutely aggravated me. I just wanted to plant a fist straight trough my TV. The acting and performance was solid and all and pacing was all right. Top notch music score. But all the madness of religion that was back then and still is today (even worse) really cooked my brain.

This movie isn't for everyone but I really enjoyed it. It's a slow movie but every scene adds to the story and learning about the characters. Everything connects and it leads to a satisfying climax.

I think this movie is really a 9/9.5 but I think the critic reviews are kind of ridiculous and I'm going to round up. The cast was phenomenal, especially Tom Holland, he was absolutely amazing. The storylines were all excellent and came together beautifully.

Mr. Campos and his superb cast confer such authority on the whole thing that there’s no choice but to follow the film’s three time-hopping, befuddlingly intertwined stories — for 138 minutes, no less.
