I bought this one not expecting much - the cover and title nearly threw me off despite the good 'zon reviews. It's a great movie, though! Different from other animes, fun, lively, creative.

Smart, funny, beautiful, spectacular. This movie has it all! Satoshi Kon was a genius and anybody who thinks this movie sucks, obviously has seen too much western films and can't recognize the true art.

This is one of the best animes out there. So many levels of genius. The interwoven dreams, collective consciousness, non-linear wave-like nature of the psyche, personality schisms and reality interference all in a technicolor splendor. (Not to mention the use of light/shadow in this animation is probably the best I have ever seen). Brilliant. A must-see.

Absolutely crazy. The animation alone makes this movie worth a watch, it's that beautiful. Not alot of this flick makes sense, but who cares... in the context of the movie, which everything seems to work. My only real complaint is that the movie ended way too soon (which is never a complaint of mine) Even if you don't like anime, still check it out. Amazing.
